Get in Style with Styletheory

Haloo, 

Kali ini aku mau bahas per-baju-an lagi nih,  setelah seringnya bahas masalah per-hati-an.

Aku mau sharing tentang pengalaman aku dengan Styletheory. Setelah wara wiri lihat iklan Styletheory di feeds instagram, akhirnya ter-brainwash juga otak aku dengan platform fashion ini. Berbekal pengetahuan yang minim bahwa platform ini adalah platform rental baju, pada suatu pagi yang iseng aku register di apps Styletheory. Masukin alamat email, masukin nomor credit card, isi data ini itu, akhirnya resmi-lah tergabung dalam Styletheory. Seperti halnya kebiasaan perempuan yang suka impulsif, aku pun menyadari keputusan untuk register di Styletheory merupakan keputusan yang sedikit impulsif tanpa perhitungan cost benefit sebelumnya. 

Styletheory adalah fashion rental platform terbesar di Asia Tenggara. To be honest aku belum tau ada platform fashion rental lainnya sih. Berbekal uang registrasi sebesar Rp. 590.00, kita bisa langganan rental baju di Styletheory selama sebulan. Selain langganan per bulan, juga ada penawaran langganan per 3 bulan dan 6 bulan dengan biaya yang lebih murah tentunya. Setiap kali rental kita boleh pilih 3 baju yang kemudian akan mereka kirimkan dalam satu box besar. Selain untuk membayar rental, biaya berlangganan yang kita bayarkan sudah termasuk dengan biaya dry clean dan biaya kirim. Simple banget kan? ga pake mikir-mikir masalah ekspedisi, tinggal tunggu box nya datang ke rumah dan bisa langsung dipakai karena baju yang mereka kirimkan "ready to wear" alias sudah dicuci. 

Styletheory akan mendata profil kita, mulai dari ukuran badan, preferensi gaya berbusana, hingga preferensi berhijab atau tidak. Ketika mengisi data profil, semula aku memilih busana untuk kategori wear-hijab. Namun setelah browsing, koleksi baju dengan kategori wear-hijab tidak terlalu banyak dibanding koleksi never-wear-hijab. Lalu aku memutuskan untuk merubah profil menjadi never-wear-hijab melalui chat dengan costumer service, dan seketika langsung dibantu rubah profil oleh mereka. Pada mulanya aku sudah menyiapkan mental untuk berurusan dengan costumer service, maklum kadang-kadang sesuatu yang dirasa mudah bisa jadi sulit ketika berhubungan dengan customer service. Beyond my expectation, customer service-nya ramah dan sangat membantu, seperti ngobrol sama teman sendiri !!

Setelah browsing berujung bingung mau pilih baju yang mana, akhirnya aku putuskan 3 baju pertama yang akan aku rental dari styletheory. Aku upayakan pilih baju yang multifungsi, bisa di pakai ke kantor maupun jalan ke mall  karena sejujurnya aku belum yakin kapan baju-baju ini akan aku pakai, berhubung aku bekerja kantoran dan kesempatan untuk jalan - jalan hanyalah ketika weekend, itu pun kalau ga mager di rumah ^^

 Ketika selesai rental, ke-tiga baju tersebut bisa kita kembalikan lagi dalam box  yang sama via kurir maupun langsung kembalikan di drop point (FX Sudirman).  Kalau masih dalam masa langganan, setelah baju -baju sudah diterima kembali oleh Styletheory, kita bisa pilih-pilih baju dan rental lagi loooh. So far menurut aku, sistem rental baju di Styletheory ini menguntungkan sekali untuk kamu yang kerja di dunia fashion atau dunia kreatif dimana kebebasan bereksperimen dalam berbusana merupakan hal yang lumrah, atau untuk kamu yang pekerjaannya menuntut untuk sering bertemu klien *kesan pertama harus impresif doong* atau untuk kamu yang sekedar suka foto OOTD. 

Rental di Styletheory juga cocok untuk kamu yang senang mengikuti trend, cepat bosan dalam berpakaian, atau yang suka ragu-ragu dalam membeli pakaian. Karena di Styletheory, kamu bisa beli baju yang sudah pernah kamu rental!  Ibaratnya kita bisa testdrive dulu baju nya sebelum membeli.

Fall Fever

Literally, I had a fever couple days ago because the weather dropped. The weather becomes unstable this Autumn, it could be sunny like summer but then drop cold as if winter comes earlier. Masuk angin is what happened when you did not prepare yourself with a proper outfit for cold weather. :D 

But fall fever for me also means dress fever, the season which I can wear mini or midi dress and pair it with jacket and  boots. A rock-chic look

Ballerina In Sneakers

Assalamualaikum

Hi, how are you doing ? hope you guys doing great this week as I am. Though I had a so-so week, I'm not gonna say I have a 'not so great' week because it shows ungrateful of what Allah had gave to me. Living in a new city had risen my adventurer side to explore the city and the country as well. But it's a shame, I haven't met anyone who have the same eager to go out and explore new place as much as I do. Besides, I have to be serious with my study, so I need to balanced my time between become a tourist and a student. 

Being a student after a quite long time 'not in a relationship' with school is not so easy. However, I found one thing that makes me happy having 'student' title is that I felt as though I got my licence to dress-up as casual  as I want. I got freedom to play with my outfit without someone telling me that I look weird or inappropriate like what sometimes happens when I was at the office.

How was your long weekend? hope it was as great as mine. Actually my long weekend truncated a day because Bunbun went to Denpasar for an office trip. But right away after Bunbun landed Jakarta on Saturday, we start to catch up our weekend. We went to White Box cafe and watch Madre at the cinema. Maybe it sounds very usual date for some people, but not for me and Bunbun. We rearly go to fancy cafe or restaurant, and never watch a movie on its early release. So for me, there are enough reasons to say that my weekend is great ^_^

Btw, for you Fashionistas, must be know well that stripes, leopard and skull are still become a fashionable items lately. If you feel too excited to wear those items, but you only have weekend time to explore your wardrobe like me (since I have to dress proper and wear uniform to the office), you can put those three together on one outfits. It surely elevate your style, but don't forget to keep it in the same tone colors. You don't want to hurt peoples eyes, right?  And this is what happen when I put stripes, leopard and skull together..

Today I blog walking to annisa's blog ann's unpredictable days and read her post about bowler hat. Suddenly my eyes catch a picture of Christina Milian wearing a blazer, and I said  to myself "hey I have one looks like those".

don't we all love and get excited if we have the same item worn by a famous people? hihihi it's kinda stated "hey we have the same taste!". But I rather keep the excitement for myself than say it to the person like what several people did on Instagram. For me it's kinda silly to say "oohh  Any (artist-name for example) i have the same bag/ring/cloth like that", what are you expect to hear when you say it to them?. But no offense, it's just my personal opinion.

Anyhow, get inspiration from anywhere, even famous people in Hollywood, simply match it with your outfits and keep it shar'i. Listen What Hollywood Said

I used to wear this tweed blazer for my working outfit, but yesterday I tried to wear it for my weekend outfits, inspired by Treimee which popularize (again) tweed blazer among hijabers

fuschia is the new black

the total look will be much sophisticated if i wore heels, but since i had to babysit, i prefer flat shoes

Went to the mall last weekend, accompanied my sisters buy Ied new outfits for their kids. My job was to babysit my niece and nephew, so i have no chances to captured much pictures. I wore a long chiffon shirt with half body button, it's so flowy and waving each time I walk, give a dramatic effect. Sometimes I love being dramatic :). I think I'm not gonna buy an Ied new outfits this year. Na'a don't get me wrong, it is not because i become more mature and only see Ied Raya Day as a self-reflecting moment as a moslem, but I already have several cloth that i haven't worn yet hihi upss.

Each time i took her pic, she come to me and ask curiously  is it (the pic) nice aunty? she behave like a teenager hadoooohh

The shawl and the slouchy pants are not my first Dian Pelangi's things. I bought wide dress last year but i rarely wear it. I love the slouchy and the shawl more than the wide dress, maybe because i bought it while discount ,, yes yes i {heart} discount%   ^.^

meet my niece, Dynda, she is my first niece so i'm pretty excited to share girl's stuff, girl's talk, girl's thingies with her. She is so cute, love her ::big hug
